How to disinfect your RugGear phone
Limit any risk of infection
During this difficult time it is extremely important to maintain the hygiene of yours and your team devices. Especially if the devices are shared among your team members, disinfection is necessary to limit any risk of infection.
To help you maintain your device spotless and reduce the risk of covid-19 contamination, we have drafted few simple instructions to help you through this pandemic. For the cleaning and disinfection of RugGear devices we recommend to spray the devices with a mixture of 70% pure Alcohol (99.x%; e.g. 2-Propanol, Isopropanol) and 30% clean distilled water.
How to perform the cleaning:
- Switch off the device
- Unplug its charging connector and other connectors if it’s in use/charging
- Spray the device with the mixture
- Wipe the device with a dry micro fibre towel
- Make sure the device is completely dry before switching it on (approximately 5 minutes)
Note: although the effect will be better with a higher concentration, we recommend a maximum 70/30 mixture to avoid damaging the materials used. A damage by using aggressive disinfectants is not covered by the guarantee. As soon you recognize a change of the colour of a part of the device please contact customer services.
